A place for my writing, poetry, thoughts, spins, ideas, artwork, music, and keeping in touch with my Twitter and Facebook family.
Welcome
Please let me know what you want to see more of, less of, or get rid of. I blog about things I know, or think I know, and ask about things I don't. Add your comments, wisdom, and life experience here. The thing I love above all else is learning (along with really good sex and cheesecake.)
I was born in Boulder, Colorado in 1943 and was raised in Kansas, Missouri, and Westfield, New Jersey. I attended the University of Denver. My album "Cat Mind" was a four star pick in Billboard in 1972, and I was an independant record producer in New York City. My business life turned to the Casinos of Las Vegas in 1977, where I remained until 1995.I opened the Temecula Art Gallery in Temecula, California, in August of 1995.The Gallery provided the community with top notch art shows, a wide variety of performing art, as well as support for the many assistance organizations in the valley. . The Gallery closed it's doors in February of 1999 after a valiant effort to keep it open, despite a bout with cancer that took me out of action for several months. But,since both God and karma were on my side, I recovered from my physical problems and in 2000, met beautiful Donna (now my wife) and wonderful daughter, Katy. In 2001, we moved back to Las Vegas to be close to my daugher, Robbie, and grand-kids Dylan and Tristan. I also have two sons, Mark in Reno, Nevada and Shawn in Arizona with my other two grandchildren, Madison and Sawyer. Donna teaches 3rd grade here, bless her heart.
